Our principal and staff
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Murringo Public School, a small school with a big heart and a strong sense of community. On Wiradjuri lands in the beautiful Murringo district, our school is a place where every child is known, valued and cared for. At Murringo Public School, we live our motto — Every Student, Every Chance, Every Day — by ensuring that each learner has the opportunity to grow academically, socially and emotionally within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our dedicated staff work in partnership with families and the wider community to provide a rich and varied education that inspires curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. Our teaching and learning programs are rich, engaging, and grounded in high expectations for all. Alongside strong academic foundations, students enjoy opportunities to participate in sport, the creative arts, environmental and STEAM programs, and leadership experiences that build character and connection participating in events not just at a school but also a network and State level regularly.
Students at Murringo Public School benefit from small class sizes, personalised learning, and the close-knit relationships that come from being part of a connected engaged learning community. We are proud of our school’s history and traditions, and equally excited about the future we are building together — one that empowers students to be confident, capable and compassionate citizens of the world.
